Welcome New Employee – Mr. Jeff Ribel

We are excited to announce Mr. Jeff Ribel is now part of the LATG Government Solutions team in Washington, DC effective September 1, 2015.

Jeff Ribel is now a Vice President and CTO at LATG. He was previously an SRA International, Inc., employee for over 15 years. Mr. Ribel was a Vice President leading a $70M business area that was focused on C4 systems, software development, research and development and technical engineering program support. He has 24 years of experience in practical technology for defense and civil operations and combines hands-on technical expertise with solid project management and leadership ability. Mr. Ribel is a retired U. S. Marine Corps officer, with more than 10 years of Active Duty and 24 years of total service, in which he held a series of operational and staff communications, data systems and cyber billets of increasing scope and responsibility, including command of such support units.

Mr. Ribel is the past President of the National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue (NIUSR), a non-profit that was focused on Federal, State and Local information sharing across jurisdictional boundaries. NIUSR works within the nexus of homeland defense and homeland security, conducting civil-military operations to vet new operational concepts and enabling technologies for homeland defense, community readiness, public safety, and civil-military communications and collaboration.

Mr. Ribel is a native of Seminole, Florida and a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. He is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the Marine Corps Association (MCA), the U. S. Naval Academy Alumni Association (USNAAA). He resides in northern Virginia.
