We are tracking Hurricane Ida as it enters the Gulf of Mexico. It has now become a category 1 hurricane and is currently projected make landfall as a strong category 3 hurricane. The current track from the National Hurricane Center shows landfall along the Louisiana coast on Sunday.

We encourage everyone located in or near the cone of uncertainty to closely monitor the storm and take all proper precautions. The most important thing is yours and your family’s safety. Please take time to think and make the best plan for your own situation.
